What is a Spartan brand ambassador?
Ambassadors are the face of Spartan, hosting local events, recruiting new customers, trying new products and getting behind-the-scenes access to the world of Spartan.
How does brand ambassador work?
Brand ambassadors may create and maintain positive relationships between the brand and its customers. Their primary goal is to increase brand awareness and sales by handling tasks such as: Positively representing the brand in a myriad of settings through actions and demeanor.
What is a Spartan Ambassador Program?
Our Spartan Ambassador Program supports two main functions:
- Volunteering at local grassroots and Info Tent operations
- Selling on social media and within local and extended Ambassador networks

Earn commissions based on revenue generated from your ambassador sales code.
What is the Code of Conduct
Within our Spartan Ambassador Program, we are all held to a high standard off and on the course.
We expect each Spartan Ambassador to be within our brand guidelines in order to be in good standing during their tenure within the program.
- Please review the following Code of Conduct guidelines before applying to the NAM Spartan Ambassador Program.
- Promote a respectful community. Treat all fellow Ambassadors, volunteers, employees and community members with respect, courtesy and dignity.
- Avoid insensitive or offensive language; avoid profanity, especially around customers.
- Refrain from engaging in physical or emotional violence toward others.
- Follow all rules and policies set forth by an HQ staff member or supervising Ambassador Lead.
- Observe safe work habits & be aware of the safety of others. Safety rules / guidelines are designed to keep everyone safe and must be followed at all times. Activities posing safety risks to you / others should be avoided; report unsafe conditions to the onsite supervisor.
- Drinking alcohol, consuming tobacco, and drugs during a shift is strictly prohibited.
- Avoid inappropriate physical or sexual relationships with other volunteers, staff, and community members.
- Stealing, misappropriation or diversion of Spartan funds, property, or other assets for personal benefit is not permitted.
- Professional decorum within public Ambassador Program platforms will be maintained at all times
- The HQ staff members leading the NAM Spartan Ambassador Program retain the right to dismiss an Ambassador member from service at any time in the event an issue arises
What is the difference between Ambassadors and Volunteers?
On-site Brand Ambassadors specifically support Info Tent which entails giving out crucial information and encourages racers to confirm for their next race. With an ongoing commitment to the Spartan Race brand. (Typically 4 hour shifts) Spartan Volunteers support general race day operations: course, festival and assorted positions onsite on a weekend/venue basis. (Typically 8 or 12 hour shifts) Any shift(s) not being fulfilled as an Ambassador will be subject to volunteer credit but NOT Ambassador credit.
How do I become a brand ambassador with no experience?
To start, engage actively on social media, create content that aligns with the brands you admire, and demonstrate your ability to influence and engage an audience. Volunteering for events or promotions can also provide practical experience.
